How can I tell if he likes / is interested in me?

There's this guy I am kind of interested in, even though he's a year older. We met through a gathering event that happens 2 times a week. At first I didn't pay any attention to him since he was a year older, I never even noticed him. It all changed when he all of a sudden talked to me and we conversed shortly. After that he would say my name whenever I walked by, then I would ususually reply with 'what' or 'yes'? Then as time went on for a couple days he teases me and makes fun of what I say I times. Sometimes he walks by with a straight face. Sometimes he ways. Sometimes he pokes me. Sometimes he lightly hits me with a piece of rolled up paper. Its hard to tell what he's thinking because he's making fun of me one second then being somewhat nice but still a bit sarcastic. He has told his friends about me, I'm sure because once he said hi to me then said my name, then his friend said 'thats her?!' In an astounded voice. But the sad part is I dont know what he had told them, I just get glances from his friends. He seems to like to make fun of me especially in front of his friends even if I'm not talking to him, he'll immediately notice my presence and say something. Its kind of embarrassing and annoys me at times. I notice whenever I walk by he kind of discreetly glances but doesn't make it obvious. Once i was walking down the staircase to our highschool and he was on the bench, he looked at me the whole time I was going down the stairs, another time was when I was in the libarary, I was getting up to leave and he stopped and stared briefly then kept on walking when he saw I was leaving. We met eyes once and he would grin/smile at me. Sometimes I feel like he's interested in me, at times I dont feel that he is..... what are your thoughts? You can PM me for any other details..

Hi Jennalee. Being a guy myself and from what see here, id say he is interested in you. Guys who don't have much experience with girls often use these actions as a way to flirt. And for me personally, for every girl I ever liked, I always seemed to notice her when she walks into the room or when i pass by. I find myself glancing at her a lot also. But because I don't know this guy, theres no sure way to tell, because everyone is different. I think it would be safe to go ahead and talk to him, if you're interested, show him. Guys sometimes need that reassurance for them to take the next step and get closer to you. The only way to find out is to take action!

Hey, I, have been in the position of this guy for the last two years, I recently ask the girl I fell for out, and it's going great, and I can tell you from my plan experience of being that guy that he almost certainly feels something for you. He may not no what it is but he probably feels something, if I were you I would become better friends with him. See where it goes and if he does like you but doesn't make the first move, go ahead and be impatient, it may pay off in the end, but make sure you know that he likes you before you do anything rash.
