Worried mother

Hi' Everyone, I am new to this site and I am desperate to find out how I can help my adult son. He uses speed and my other son said that it is not methamphetamine but I have a feeling it is. We are very worried about him as he uses all his money that he earns to use this drug. He is not aware that I know about it now as he thinks that I think he stopped. I love him so much and want to help but don't want to make him angry as this drug seems to get him into a rage. What should I do?, I doubt he would go to rehab as he doesn't think he has a problem. When he was using a couple of years ago I knew what he was doing and he knew that I knew then he seemed to be okay for a while, but apparently he is still doing it because he has no money. His ex partner threw him out because of this that's how I know now. Would someone be able to tell me how to act or should I do nothing. I am sick with worry. Casey.

Listen and act, find something , his girl, his dog, his car etc and use it as a lever and force him to get assistence, he will eventualy fall into paranoia but you must act quickly and do not give upever, its just a matter of time once he realises what he is doing.

I agree, keep talking letting him know how you feel and the danger he is doing to himself and others especially those who love him. Let him know you are concerned for him because you want him to be able to be happy and at the top of his game a winner... Pray for the right words so he will realize that the drugs are the enemy not the people who care or life itself...

I am also new to this site and a mother of a very successful football player and gifted son. He is in an IVY league school but I fear he is using crack cocaine. What are the symptoms. He ask us to leave him alone and he sleeps all day long. What do I need to look for? I feel your pain and I would appreciate your help in "how to know if my son is going down the same path." We are praying that God will protect him and enter his heart. We feel helpless but know God will hear our prayers. My prayer and heart are with you as well.
