What should I do in this situation, please help

So I'm 15 years old. I've dated people in the past and had fun, but I've never relly gotten that "spark" with anyone, so I haven't had what I would consider a good relationship yet. (So no one gets the wrong idea, I am indeed a virgen) However I have a friend I have known for a little over 7 years now and although we aren't related by blood, he calls me his little sister and I call him my big brother. Lately however he hasn't been acting like a brother, but rather a boyfriend and I'm kind of falling for him too. The problem is, he's almost 19. I don't wanna get him in trouble, but I don't want to push him away either because he is the only person in my life right now who auctually listens to my problems and cares about making me feel better. He's the world to me and I don't want to loose him. Does anyone know what I should do? Thanks.

If what you have with him is really that special, getting into a romantic relationship could be risky. I would just keep him close to me as a "big brother." If you don't want to lose him, getting into a situation where you might get him in trouble or form a bridge between you two isn't wise. If you're falling for him, restraining yourself would be difficult but you need to seriously consider things from a long-term perspective. Well....that's how I see it.

Do you feel love for him or only lust? It's hard to know the difference between these two. I was in a similar situation a few years ago but I realized it was only lust and not love. Since it was only lust, I decided to keep him close as an older brother. However if you love him then you should give it a try. Does he feel the same way? If you guys are really as close as I think you are, then I think that he won't mind if you confess to him. You are the only one who truly knows how you feel so just go with your gut feeling.
