I need someone else's opinion

Hi, the thing is, me and her have been speaking for 3-4 years now and i'd consider her my best friend. First two years of knowing her we were together. Once we broke up we stayed in contact, as we both needed each other. I'm very confused. I don't think she's doing it on purpose, but she is really messing with my head. Recently we have grown close together. I should probably mention that i haven't fell out of love. Recently, she compliements me by saying i'm the only that makes her smile and i'm too good for her etc, is she trying to tell me something? She often compliements my appearence. Does this mean she is only attracted to me but doesn't love me or is she trying to tell me something? I also should probably mention she isn't very good at showing her feelings. Thanks - James.

I think she's just being nice. I'm a girl and I just broke up with my best friend we still talk and I compliment him all the Time and whenever he needs help I'm always there

You should ask her how she feels and be honest with your feelings
