Will my ex come back

My bf dumped me last week out of the blue. He said he felt he was not deserving of me and that I could do much better. That he cares a lot for me and this is for the best. I begged him to the point of humiliation to take me back but he refused. He's being stubborn about him. Well I chased him for six days but I've stopped chasing since than. Once I stopped chasing he started texting, I tried ignoring him but he would send text asking if I'm ignoring him, if not taking in general is what I want. Then I replied that I've just been busy its cool but cut off the conversation quick. He then wished me a happy birthday (trying all his best to be the first- even asked me if he was the first) we saw each other briefly on my bday and I played it cool. He hugged me, said I was looking good, he said he saw the gifts I received and he was just about to send me a pic of them (we work together and I'm on leave) I then said I had to go and he asked mr who I was with and what I was doing- I answered cooly then left. Later on that day he called me saying thanx for the jackets ( which I left in his office- left his underpants in one of the pockets) he said he went to go pay for something and pulled his underpants out and it was humiliating. (He sounded serious) he said next time i should get hom to pick it up or i should burn them, than I said it was not my intention and he replied I was just joking why you getting all serious. Then he asked me what did I learn so I said I'll burn them next time. He asked if I was with anyone and I said yes I am. Than he said oh sorry wasn't meant to call while you were with anyone, enjoy the rest of your special day. So I said bye as well. He sent me a text saying I was so cold then another about his jacket smelling like me ( with a sad smiley). I said I didn't mean to come across as cold was just surprised by the call and I apologized for not having the jacket washed before giving it back. He said he just wanted I share the story cause it was funny and that all is good. Enjoy my evening and bye. So I Said ok will do bye. Today I heard from our mutual friend that he's been talking about how much he loves me and misses me. And that he doesn't deserve me, the break is for the best so I can realise my real worth. He knows its for the best but he's so jealous that I might find someone else and the thought of someone touching or Kissing me makes him mad he told her he wants to say he misses me but he doesn't know if its a good idea. I really so want him back and the signs are there but he's being stubborn. Sorry about the long message I have been thinking a lot during this time apart, I've made a lot of self improvements as well. I also realise I can't fall for his mind games again. Just wanted someone's view on my situation... Thanx. Sorry about the long story again

Maybe e did something bad and is keeping it away or regrets something and dont beg him tht what he wants

Stay away from him. Ignore him, you are too good for him.
