I miss my friend

we have been friends for 37 years, and have known each other since we were kids. but i make all of the effort. she never comes to see me, and i always tx her first. im sure if i didnt contact her she wouldnt bother at all. but i miss her. i resolve to give what i receive but i find it so hard to be hard. i know i have to toughen up as iv been exploited before. a couple of years ago i stopped bothering with my friend for many months. i didnt hear from her but then i bumped into her in town and she threw her arms around me and said how much she missed me. so why didnt she get in touch?? im sick of making all the effort but i dont want to loose her friendship, but are we friends if she doesnt care enough to make an effort?? ok shes not got a car but she has a mobile and could text me.

You just need to understand that sometimes you get carried away in life and you can't focus with someone 24/7 especially when you get older. You just have to know you guys will be best friends no matter what! & if you or she ever needed help. I'm sure the other would be there for them
