How do I tell him about my cutting / depression?

I've been dating my boyfriend for 10 months and he's my first relationship. I love him and he's the one. But I have some demons in my past. I'm a former cutter and suffer from severe depression. I hide it very well. I want to tell him about this but how? Will he freak out? Will he think I'm crazy? Will he think he has to walk on eggshells around me? I've never told anyone this close to me about this and want to get closer and have him see the real me. How do I do this? Or should I wait? What?

My husband wants to know- he has told me that he does not want to be the last to know, so, I suggest telling your BF soon.....telling him that you are pretty much under control. Yes, most of us hide it well, but, if you dd need his help in the future, he will be a little more prepared to help.....
