How come my boyfriend never really compliments my looks yet others do?

My boyfriend never compliments my looks. We've been dating for 4 years and he never really commented about my looks. I know for a fact that he thinks I'm fat, yet he never calls me bad looking nor good looking. It really gets to me. I have always been insecure about my looks and the last I expected ir needed was this from my boyfriend. I really love him and he really loves me and I guess we could call our relationship to be prefect, but I honestly can't bear with this anymore. I know that he makes me feel really loved but it really hurts me thinking that yes it is possible that he doesn't think I'm pretty. He sometime jokes about me being ugly, although I would know he's joking I end up crying after our conversation cause the "looks" topic just really gets to me. I guess what I'm trying to say is that ever girl would like to be called pretty or beautiful or even cute, especially by the one she's inlove with. People make me feel like I'm really hot but when It comes to my boyfriend, I think the opposite of myself. I need this the most from him. Oh and I always send him pictures of myself, he only seems to comment about how good the "picture " looks. Like he would say nice picture. I'm getting frustrated here.help!

He wouldn't be with you if he wasn't sexually attracted to you. Just send him sexy pictures and ask him if he thinks you're sexy, then he has to answer

Hi Tina, I understand what you are going through. We want to be told we are attractive to our mate without having to ask or put ourselves out there with sexy pictures. If he feels it, he should say it. Have you told him how big of an issue it is for you? Let him know what you need from him, that it needs to be his honest opinion. Let him know how much the joking hurts. Some things they do not know if you do not say. If he loves you like you believe he does he will make effort.
