How can I tell him? What should I do?

I like one of my friends (he's a guy I'm a girl) and I recently found out he likes me back. Its summer vacation and I have no way to contact him. I won't see him for a year. I told my friend (I'll call her Jessica) that he'll move on by then and jessica said she was positive he wasn't going to. I don't believe her. What should I do? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
