Girlfriend thinking of going back to her ex

I was dating a lady for the past month--even though we never had sex, she was attentive and loved to kiss--but I should also preface that we started dating shortly after we both were divorced. Things were going well, but I guess I was moving too fast for her--I'd been mentally gone from my own marriage for a few years before it was official, whereas she did not want the divorce and still does love her ex. So, he found out we were dating and he began calling her; they're getting together over this coming weekend to talk about what went wrong and, I am sure, about whether to try again. Of course, I'm heartbroken and crushed. I am sure she wants to be with him if she still loves him, even though he hurt her badly with the divorce. So I feel put on the back shelf and even though we're not dating anymore, she still calls or emails me to say "Hi!". That only prolongs my hurt and is preventing me from moving on. But I still want to be with her and I'm hoping her talks with her ex- will just answer their questions and then let her be free to date me again. But my biggest fear is that they will continue to work on getting back together and I'm left twisting in the wind. Thoughts, comments and advice anyone? I would appreciate any and all opinions, be they brutally honest ones even. How do I either get over her or wait to see if she still wants to see me later on? Thank you all!

You need to let her figure this out...I wish she would have gotten over her divorce before she started dating. It's not fair to you or her to start another relationship. You said in your post that she still loves her ex. What would you do if you still loved your ex-wife? You would try to win her back. If she is worth it...Give her some space and let her figure out what she really wants. Chances are, she will find her way back to you. After all, they got divorced for a reason. If they were meant to be together, I think they would have found a way to fix their problems.
