Do I or don't I?

Hi guys, so I met this guy online, and for the past couple of months, we've been talking on and off. He's been lovely at times, and at other times I just want to give up on him. He comes across as really sexual, and when I go to his hometown next year to see the Uni there, he says he's going to, you know. Sometimes, he's the sweetest guy ever, but at others he's just too overwhelming and I can't bear it. At times, there is no conversation between us, but I like him, although I'm not sure what he wants from this. I don't know what to do, and I can't decide whether to leave it and not talk, or continue this until June next year

If I was in your situation i would figure out where his head is. If he wants to talk like we're about to start dating (i.e. sex or relationship talk) then I would like to know what exactly he is looking for right now in his life. Once you know whether he's looking for a relationship or not, then you can do as you will accordingly. It all depends on what you can handle and can't handle. You have to know whether you would go that direction or not. You have to be sure. If your not sure, then continue to get to know him on a personal level in order to figure out whether you want to take your relationship to the next level. Rule one: Be safe. Whether it be condoms, public meetings or pepper spray. Safety is first. You just have to set your standards and know what you want and how you want to be treated.
