What does he want?

I met a guy at a party and we got on well although he was pretty quiet and sometimes shy, he wouldn't dance but we got on really well, I ignored all efforts of his friends to dance or flirt with me and we ended up kissing. he texted me the next day with lots of kisses and we talked quite a bit, he asked what might happen next time we met, I said I didn't know but I got him invited to a party the weekend after next, he also came over to my house the weekend before so we would see each other three weekends in a row ... when he came to my house and I made the decision to have sex. it was too early but I didn't think in the spur of the moment, I feel since then he has been more distant, before this I asked him if he was seeing any other girls and he said he wasn't but he was talking to another girl, im a very relaxed person about that kind of thing and I said I was totally fine with it because we're not exclusive or anything. now he has messaged me saying we probably wont see each other at the party I got him invited to - its 200 people but they're all my friends so I don't know why he doesn't want to spend time with me, he's coming to myhouse after. what more does he want, ive given him basically everything I can, I don't understand what more he wants?? why doesn't he want to see me at the party I got him invited to ....? they're all my friends and he doesn't know anyone!! what is he thinking I don't understand, does he just see me as a sex toy?? what should I do, my plan atm is to go to the party and have a good time looking amazing with all my friends and show him what he's missing, good plan?
