I don't know what to do!

I am a 16 year old girl and I have been with my boyfriend for 6 months. For all of these 6 months I had been so happy with him and I thought he was with me, but then he told me that there was always one girl that he would love more, (a girl from our school that he had previously dated, I think). I thought he was just using this as a break up line so I asked him if he still wanted to be with me and with this he said yes... I thought this was rather strange and I am really confused... surely if he was "always" going to love this girl more he would want to try with her? I have forgiven him for now as he apologised but I don't know if I can forget about this...I really don't understand this and if anyone has experienced this or knows what I should do I would be very grateful for your advice!

... Why would he say something like that??? I'd dump him if I were you because a relationship should have more than one side to it. But if you think that you're both able to work through such an awkward fact then you should try keep the relationship intact. Sorry if this hasn't been much help but I'm a bit stunned by what he said.

From the way you describe it, it sounds like the issue with him not being with her is on her side of the story. Something notable however is that he was quite honest with you, though this relationship is also completely unfair to you.

If you decide you still want to be with him, you have to let him know exactly how you feel. If he does leave you. Better you are with someone that won't fully love you.
