I am not having an affair

Hello, I find myself in a strange situation and really could do with some advice about what to do about it. I work in a bar and a colleague told me that one of our customers thinks I'm having an affair with her husband. I have hardly even spoken to him! They used to come into the bar regularly while I was working there and I spoke to her more often than her husband. To be honest, I didn't even notice when they stopped coming in on my shifts. But she told my colleague that he keeps making sneaky phone calls and texting someone with the same name as me. she said that she's seen his car outside my house and that she knows where I live, she said some pretty threatening things. I am in a wonderful, very loving relationship with a man who I think the world of and I would never do anything to put our relationship at risk. I don't know what to do about it. She's not said anything to my face though, so I don't know if I should confront her about it or not.

Innocent, you need to confront her and IF she's said the things your colleague has said she said,(please ensure that your colleague is trustworthy) then she owes you an apology. If she suspects her husband is having an affair then she needs to be very precise about who she accuses but she also needs to understand that the buck stops with her husband full stop. No ifs or buts about it. In other words, rather than accusing you, she needs to confront her husband first and foremost and take it from there. Her behavior is typical of a wife spurned, but she needs to face the facts and look at her own marriage before she attempts to damage you and yours.

Dear Innocent - Talk to your boss before speaking to 'this woman'. I f he/she thinks its ok then take your BF with you and talk to 'this woman' and her husband. Tell her you want to correct her misunderstanding. Good luck! Let us know what happens. Whatsup
