hi there, so I just not long turned 23 I have a little boy with my ex and split up with my partner 1 year ago but since then we have been on and off in a relationship with each other. the reason we split after 6 years together is that he had chosen drugs, and hanging around with the wrong group of friends, I love him so much and feel like I cant move on, he however has been with a lot of girls but always comes back to me and I seem to take him back all the time. when im not with him I feel so sad and I cant be myself as we where so close and like best friends, now he is a total different person he was healthy and careing the drugs have taking over, that's been a year hes been on cocaine every day, hes so spoiled and an only chiled and gets everything handed to him on a plate, so I just found out im pregnant to him, again this is our second child, hes looking forward to the new child but hes never here for me hes always away doing things and hes been really sick recently I think hes moved on to a stronger drug I really don't know what to do, hes had a realy bad drug problem but I care about him, and im scared of bringing up a new born plus my son age 3 on my own, I know I have to I wish he was here to help me he has been in touch with drug counciling but he still disappears every night and if he phones or turns up next day hes on drugs or sleeps all the time and sweats a lot, will I ever get the old person I feel in love with back or his he a different person and to far into drugs? it feels like he has no feelings, hope someone can help with some advice thanks x

You already know what to do. You have one child and another on the way. Your man has his problems and they're his to work out. In the meantime, you need to distance yourself from him and let him sort his life. He is no use to you and will only take the strength you need for your young family. Yes, he does have feelings but he can't express them properly because he's addicted. His priorities are elsewhere. Find the right environment for your family and make the effort to cut this man out of your life. You need to be happy and all he can offer you is misery.

I am sorry to tell you that i agree with the last two post you need to step away from him. Addiction is a terrible thing destroys families I am sorry you are facing this. Look forward your family and he cannot be a part of it until he is clean. I wish you the very best and hope it all works out for you.
