Should I or shouldn't I?

I arranged a date with a woman from an on line dating site. Two weeks ago we met at a restaurant and had a great time. We had a great connection also. She even extended the date by asking me to go to another place for a couple of drinks. I asked her if she would want to go out again and she said definitely. When we walked outside by my surprise she gave me a kiss and said she had a great time. The next day I texted her and said how much I was looking forward to the next date and she responded back by saying she really thought I was a nice guy and had a great time and even felt a spark but a guy she had been on many dates with was upset she was still dating so she decided to continue to go out with him. I replyed by saying I was sad to hear that but I would respect her decision and not bother her anymore. two days later I did text her and asked her to consider going out again and she said she had been thinking a lot about me but has made the decision to date the other guy. I am stuck wondering if I should just write her off or text her again in a few days and just see how she is doing to keep me in her thoughts. What should I do?
