Help with relationship

Hi, I really need some advice. I'm currently seeing a man who is separated from his wife and two kids. For the past year I have felt like a mistress though things have slightly improved. He has never really committed to the relationship and until recently never really spent a lot of time with me, this suited me at first as I also have a child and only wanted to spend time with him when she was with her Dad. I didn't want to involve her with a man until I was sure. Over the year I have finished with him several times because of his behaviour. He told me after the last time I took him back that he had told his kids he had started seeing someone and that we would be able to move forward and look at being together properly. I found out last weekend he has never told his wife or his kids of this. He has in fact been lying to me and has confessed. He says he feels racked with guilt for no longer being at home and he thinks if he tells his wife that he is moving on that she will poison the kids against him and he will no longer get to see them. At the moment he lives with his parents and sees his kids regularly though never over night. He has told me that he really loves me but I don't make him feel secure enough for him to risk telling them. He doesn't want to lose either so keeps trying to juggle. He isn't sleeping and things are really stressful. What do I do next? I don't know how long to give it I love him and want things to work. Please help.

hi, i think he wanted the best of both worlds in the begining he didnt want his family life to end and he wanted to keep his relationship with you going as well, now he is living with the guilt and his ex will poison his childrens minds if shes that type,i wouldnt rush into anything with him take your time and in time he will want you to become involved with his children and his ex will move on and she,ll have someone new to ,will he want them to know him as well ,let him have his time with his children even if u have to stay in the background for the moment.just make it good when he hasent got them and spend time as a couple.

I have children with an ex partner and she is a complete nightmare with me. She has tried to ruin my last 3 relationships with lies about us sleeping together and has threatened my partners with violence on many occasions. Also she has poisoned the kids against me as much as possible but they are getting older and wiser now - they have their own minds. 5 years has past since i was with her and to this day she is still the same. Just be careful some people are plain crazy LOL!
