Hello, I invite you all to discuss the following questions. There is a short article called A Log With Legs Spread Wide. My employees and I invited a few people to read them and to express their opinions. Here are some of their responses (all quotations are Anonymous to respect responders' privacy): "Well i think the article is true but that was long time ago. Nowadays things have changed a bit, some men do respect woman. As for me, as long as i make my money and i can take care of myself, i can't allow a man to disrespect me." "Not interested." "i just look at the link you sent me. I think same thing. I took the women's studies in my community college... which I failed my class. TT_TT However, I learned a lot from that course. Women have almost all of their freedoms. Men simply think women are just weak. Ugh! Dumb men! I can become stronger than him! I just don't need a silver knight or handsome prince riding on a white horse to rescue me! Hehe! Yes... it's true, little girls or young girls can learn from a media society or people outside of her family. I can slap a man's face! Pfft!" "I believe that the info you sent would be interesting if it applied to me,but I do r believe it does,so won't read it, not all men are controlling.i have been with my hubby 22years and we share stuff and isn't controlling." "Yes, I've realised for a long time that men can and do control women in many ways but not really thought much about it. Some are small things and other big things. Somethings we don't notice or realise they are doing it eg When going out in the car he seems to mostly drive or(if you have a car each) it's always his car you go in and so he drives. When a male says it's time to go we women do as we are told and go, a male would mess about more or say not just yet if a women said it was time to go. I know these are small things but it's still controling." "Very interesting concepts indeed. I think that women have suffered tremendously under the domination of men over the course of history. I want something better for Myself and a lot of women feel the same way as I do. I don't currently have time to start a deeper discussion about these matters but they certainly represent nice ideas to think about in My freetime. As you know, I am a woman who is kind of busy... Turning men into Logs I hope you appreciate My efforts to make this world a new re-invented place!" "I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to gain from it. Who is the target audience? I don't think it can simply be "any woman," so I wonder what kind of woman this text is trying to appeal to. This is a rhetorical question, but it is something I think you should be thinking about when trying to market your product. For me personally, I don't feel like I have learned anything new from reading this article. I kept trying to decipher the content and see if I could try to understand its point, and I just couldn't really find one. It is not even that I had something to argue with in terms of what it was saying really, because to me it just wasn't saying much of anything at all... So for me personally the actual content is not very interesting. Again, I am not sure who the target woman you are trying to get through to is." "I will read it when I'm in the mood." "I would not want to participate in the discussion on this topic. There is some truth, but things are very much exaggerated. I do not like when people think that the world is black or white, and do not see that it is actually gray" "I won't have time to argue, and the authors tried to highlight all the possible situations in this text that I am tempted to argue about. I'm not close to this topic, and if it turns out that I believe in a nonsense, so be it" "Unfortunately, I cannot come up with any arguments." "I'd rather you did not ask for my opinion about this article" "This theory does not imply counterarguments. Either I am on board, or I am stupid. This is obvious, and so I did not argue. Everything written about unbearable conditions for women, also applies to men. In general, I'm tired of this conversation, let's end it." How do you assess these responses in terms of the level of intellect of the respondents? Let's say on a scale from 'moron' to 'Einstein'? And what do you think about this? Do you have any other, perhaps, your own opinions? Sincerely, Kate Bazilevsky, Director Human Population Academy

Intelligent My basis for assumption is based on whether they spoke their mind without personal bias and were able to do so with proper grammar, spelling, conventions, etc. Eloquency, so to speak.
