Tied by a thread

For all the things in the world, there is one thing that I hate the most......a "broken family". For years, I have devoted my life to bind my family relationship together (a true Chinese culture if I say so myself). Everytime if there were a quarel between any members, I am alwas the one to stop. Still for this such a long period.....I still feel that my family's relationship is tied by a tread. Now a major problem is coming! 2 years later I'll be off from my hometown seeking for higher education but I'm afraid if I go then, this family will break apart. Can anyone show me what to do??This is very troublesome.....
