Worried

Hey guys, this is my first time writing a problem on this site so I'm pretty new to this! Well my problem is that I asked this girl out a few days before summer, (I'm in grade 8) I thought it would work out because I thought that we could hang out during the summer. But little did I know that she lives WAY on the other end of town and she was never aloud to hang out. So after about a week things started to get pretty awkward, so 2 days ago I was talking to her through kik messenger and I didn't really know to end things, so I told her having a girlfriend at that time was a little awkward for me and I asked if maybe we could hold off the relationship thing until school, and then she kept asking if I got paid to ask her out and I said no, and I then said I don't think I'm ready for a relationship now, and then she replied LOL. And I think she's gonna tell all her friends and I'm just worried everyone is going to hate me again, did I say the wrong thing? I'm just really worried, thanks in advance!

Hi there and welcomed! I have to say that you come across as a sincere person in your post. Honesty is always the best policy. Instead of having her guess what could have gone wrong simply explain the situation to her the same way you did in your post. It's very understandable. She may not like it but I'm sure she'll appreciate your honesty even if she doesn't show it. Also, this leaves very little room for her friends or associates to think badly of you. You are so very young and you don't want to start out in a relationship that simply isn't going to work. Let her know that you thought you would be able to spend quality time with her this summer and that's why you asked her out. Once you realized this wasn't the case it's only natural that you'd reconsider what you want to do with your summer and how you'd like to spend it. Get out, meet girls, hang with your buddies and maybe you'll find another special young lady that you will be able to spend time with doing all the things summer was made for. Best of luck to you!

I have a copy of the bible at home and in it I gather Jesus recommends forgiveness of self and others and helping the needy. Jesus also said who ever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saves and He said also that he is the way the truth and the light, and that they who come to Him shall not hunger, and that they who believe in Him shall not thirst, and they shall have eternal life / in case this helps. He also said that even the smallest amount of faith can move mountains. I guess it is not called the Good Book for nothing :) :) God bless and all the best.
