Boyfriend cheating and a baby

My boyfriend got really drunk and had some friends over to his apartment. He went and passed out in his bed and a girl that was at his house had sex with him. He has no recollection of even having sex with her. She admitted he was passed out and getting on top of him. This incident lead to her getting pregnant and having his child, a boy. We have been together for many years but I am having a very hard time coming to terms with this. We had plans on marriage and I was ready to have a child of my own. It would have been our first. But now I don't know what to do!

We are both in our thirties. A paternity test was done and the baby is his. The whole story sounds so insane but I've spoken to the women myself and from her admission of how it happened. I don't know why or understand why a person would do something like this.

It the US that is rape and charges could be filed. Sexual contact with a person who is unable for what ever reason to consent to sex is rape. How does he treat this woman now? Is he friendly with her? Is he disgusted? Does he violated? I would be had pressed to believe a victim of rape would become friendly with his rapist. I would make sure you pause this relationship for a bit if he is on good terms with her. He now has a child and will have it for the rest of his life unless he decides to cut all contact.

That sound horrible! Some girl raped him, got pregnant and had his baby?! Why exactly haven't you called the police? She sounds like a real predator or opportunist to me. Is your boyfriend alright, or shaken up? I think you should file charges, she sounds like some sort of sexual predator, having unprotected sex with a drugged (yes drugged, as in unaware and unable to communicate) guy like that. This story makes my guts churn in a really creepy way. Please make sure the child is his, and above all GO TO THE POLICE! If she's done it once, she may have done it before, and she's quite capable of doing it again. Rape IS possible for both genders, a girl once tried to rape me, fortunately she had to stop because my friends were nearby. I made the mistake of not reporting it, she's probably still out there grooming and attacking people. Don't make the same mistake.
