Is it me?

My ex and I'll cut a long story short was so nice at the beginning but after 4 weeks backed off and I didn't know what to do. Then when he didn't want anything to do with me at Christmas and then let me down New Years Eve 2007 and I finished it. Afterwards I tried to sort it out with him, he kept giving me hope then dashing it so I gave up. Anyway I decided it was time for me to get out there again, so a friend told me about a dating website that she found her man on and I started seeing someone. Again he was nice at first then a few things happened. He was off for 3 days and before then he had asked me to marry him by a text, I said yes but but that he had to ask me in person but then he asked me about 4 times by text again if I still wanted to marry him or forget it, so I said forget it. We were suppose to meet the next day but he then called it off by sending a text saying he was going out with his mates I didn't answer and he sent me a text complaining about that. The next day he text me and I suggested we met the following day for a coffee to sort things out, he replied I'll let you know I've got lots to do, I said ok and he went funny with that. The next day again he text saying he had been off for 3 days and he hadn't seen me so I said we can see each other now but he said it was too late it, was about 14.45 in. The next text said 'are we going up town to get a ring' well I couldn't believe it, it was such a switch. I send him a text stating what he had done over the last three days and I thought we should call it a day. Well the next texts were abusive and threatening asking for money back for presents and meals out. A week later I saw him and he appologised saying he wouldn't do it again because on the 15th October 2008 I had a stroke and now he has done it again. He got mad because I have arranged buying a new car and a holiday and didn't tell him about it until I sorted it out but when I told him about it face to face he was ok, it wasn't until later he text me all this after I told him I was at my Aunty Jeans. He's moaning that I'm 35 and living with my parents, that I was with my Aunty Jean. I'm a Coach Driver and the holiday I have arranged is free with work and I wanted to go with the gentleman who trained me on the routes, because of this he cancelled going away the next day and said we should take things a day at a time. It happened on Thursday 18th June and it is now 21st June he hasn't contacted me since, I feel as if he is now punishing me. As he hasn't said it has finished, though I have been on the website talking two a couple of other men. I know not to bother with him I'm just would like to know if its me.
