Stages of love

Hello, I am slightly new to this, so I'll try my best. My ex-girlfriend and I had been officially together for about 6 months, but we were quite close for about 4 months before then. About 3 weeks ago my ex randomly asked me why we were constantly fighting. I immediately reassured her that it was okay and normal, even though I wasn't sure if it was. For the first 5 months or so, we were head-over-heels in love with each other, and then it slowly started to fade away into a little bit of a boring state. We both still loved each other very much, but we could tell that things felt odd and different. Now to get up to date, her and I broke up tonight, me being the instigator, but she agreed that breaking up was the best option. Fortunately, I have found hope. Both her and I love each other, but I don't want to get back together with her until I'm 100% that I want to be with her. I have just recently discovered the stages of dating, and more importantly, the stage where couples begin to feel like the "spark" isn't there anymore. This gave me hope because that's exactly what I felt, so that brings me to my question. Do you believe in the stages of relationships? And should I wait a few weeks to see if I still feel the same about my decision to get back together with her?

To be honest I didnt know a relationship had stages when it comes to dating...the only stages I know is friendship, dating, marriage & lifetime journey together (hopefully in most cases) for whatever reason to why you guys broke up I hope it was a reasonable one, yous need to understand that all relationships can turn sour but if you guys are a strong couple to over come & work together through a difficult situation then yous know yous can work through any obstacles that yous face together, yous cant break up & want to get back together...itll be a cycle for yous & waste both your precious time when there could be people out there whom are compatable to the both of yous. Yes at times the relationship can be boring but what are yous both doing in order to keep the relationship alive??? sitting, moping & thinking that its boring obviously wont fix things. try movie dates or going for walks, choose a day for a couple dinner night etc etc do something together as a couple & if yous say yous were friends before the relationship then be a friend & a loving partner to her if yous were to get back togehter, if you love this person so much then treat her like your best friend & a lover cause that is a definition of a soul mate. And why wait? if you want a relationship with her & you want to make things work then go to her & make it work
