Finace vs best friend

hello, i am in a relationship with this amazing guy for 8 years, we are in love since our mid-teens and will marry next year. i have (had) known my best friend since middle school. we like adventures like hiking or trekking. this holiday i planned a trekking trip with both my bestffriend and boyfriend, we went trekking last year together so i thought it'd be success this time too. but we couldn't go on the fixed date due to many reasons and both my fiance and I got busy later that week. my bestfriend kept asking to go but we couldn't. after a week, my fiance and i went to the trip but unfortunately bestfriend wasn't available, so i contcted and apologized to her many times but shehe didn't reply to any of them. finally she told me that she didn't mind we went without her but she's pissed because my fiance bosses everyone around, is inconsiderate and she can't tolerate him anymore. none of this is true, and i am stuck with the decision of how to handle my best friend in this situation :(

hey susie, its been a month since i last posted this problem. i wanted time to take its course, but alas she still avoids me. as she and i live in different cities and meet when we are in our hometown, it's not possible for me to go and reconcile with her. i had messaged her on her birthday, but she didn't reply to that. i have found out that she came to my town recently with few of her versity friends for a weekend, but she didn't call me. i was pretty hurt but didn't call her myself, as I felt tired of being the only one making an effort. it's soon my finals but this behavior of my best friend of a decade is eating me from inside and is hampering my studies. has this friendship come to its expiry date? my relationship with my brstfriend's family is really close. i even tutored her younger sister when she asked my help on it and her parents are almost like my own parents. she was always the world to me. but she just doesn't seem to care. what happened to us? and i can't find any fault in myself but i can't understand why is she doing this. please susie, if you read this, would you share some of your wonderful advices?
