Is 14 one nigh stands to many ??

I have had 20 sexual encounters with lost of men. 14 one night stands and 5 very short relationships. I am married now and my past is coursing problems because i lied. he said everyone has a past but the lies are present. my friend say 20 people is ok but they have not told their partners/ husbands the true figure. they said its ok to lie because its in the past. So, why lie if its OK to sleep with that many people and why not tell your partner??

LOST of men? What a pertinent Freudian, LOL. What's he worried about? The fact you weren't a virgin after all (;-p) or that you lied? News for him: lots of women play down their past sexual habits. It's because they know that most men's egos can't handle it if their woman had many more sexual encounters than they did. I'm not saying I agree with hiding it. I had WAY more one-night or two-week stands than you, and considerably more than my husband, but I was of the attitude that I am who am I am, who I am is a product of all I've lived, and he could take it or leave it. He took it. There we go. So what is your husband's REAL beef? The fact he can't compete thus feels like less of a man (tsk!) or that you failed to disclose a fact of your past (to which he feels entitled)? Has he told you absolutely everything about his past? Fair enough to him and his stance if he has. But has he? And how would you even know? Let's say he has. So what does he want you to do? Say you're sorry?

There's no upper limits on how many people it's ok to sleep with prior to settling down. As long as you're happy with yourself and you were careful, I'd agree with your friends that it's in the past and not important now.
