Life, I guess

I feel so lost at the moment. I'm not suicidal or anything. I just feel like I'm so behind in life. I have no job experience because I've been in school. My parents never allowed me (I was too naive to just go out and get a job and resulted in just listening to them). I was half forced into moving into the Philippines to study. Im back home on vacation and I have nothing to do. I need some stuff under my resume belt. I'm smart and hardworking. Why is it so hard? I guess life is just stressing me out. I need money to do things. Also, the guy i've been thinking about every day while away for school told me that he has a girlfriend. Which in the long run is okay, but still bums me out.

Good morning from California, You need to count your blessings, I know how frustrating it can be knowing you can possibly be independent but being in college can hold you back at PRESENT. But in the long run its worth the sacrifice. If your parents are supporting you while you are in school willingly embrace that and use that to your advantage to keep your grades up, and intern in the areas you are interested in. http://www.internships.com have internships or just google internships in your area for experience. ENJOY life, surround yourself around positive family members and friends enjoy every moment because some people are not blessed enough to have a choice to not work and dedicate their time in school . I have the same dilemna sorta, my grandmother always support me financially anything I ask her she gives it but I hate it because I want to go out and make my own money, and I did/do but when I tell her I hate asking her for things she always tell me she would not be offering if she didnt want to help, and didnt have it. For the most part your family have your best interests and love you, so just relax and listen to them and take the help while you can, in the meantime work on finding internships and researching different programs you want to participate in so you can get experience under your belt. As far as the guy with the girlfriend theres absolutely nothing you can do about that and if you do continue to try to pursue them that is highly disrespectful. I recently got cheated on and it was horrible, and you wouldnt want that done to you so leave that situation alone, and mingle with single people theres alot of fish in the sea just go out to social events and you will find your Mr.Right . Hope this helps and college student- to college student KEEP PUSHING it'll be worth it for the long run . Good luck and God Bless Ashira
