Am I aimless / a loser?

Default profile image
So I just turned 18 and just graduated high school in June. Right now I don't have a driver's license (I have a learners permit), a physical job, or really any friends (I have acquaintances but not like, friends). I'm generally a happy go lucky type person, and for money I do online art commissions. But my family is concerned over me being an adult now and yet still lacking a license or a "real" job, along with my being a total hermit. I'm honestly pretty fine with drawing and chatting with people online all day, but at the same time I feel like I'm letting my family down and that I'm really going to turn out to be a loser in the eyes of society. Should I be worried? Is it time to get off my butt and go do stuff? Thank you for your time if you read this far!!

1. It's not unusual to leave school with no friends. Those schoolfriends were such because you were basically incarcerated with them and had to make the best of the situation. Circumstantial friends. Friendships built exclusively on circumstances, when circumstances CHANGE, mean that as soon as the circumstance alters or disappears altogether, there is no longer a basis for continuing the friendship. You need to make friendships that are based on moral values. Those babies never change, regardless of circumstance. Well, maybe they get to FLEX a bit in line with changing situations and circumstances, but not enough to cast the friendship asunder. So you're looking for moral values on-legs. Solution: Find a moral PLACE. What do you suppose I mean by that? Put your thinking cap on and tell me? 2. These online commissions: what percentage of money do you earn compared to how much you actually need? And is this a recent new venture or something you've been doing for a long time? 3. Define 'total hermit'. 4. And then tell me if you are generally happier in solitude than in company. (THEN we'll talk about whether 'loser' is a warranted label or not!)
