Is hypnosis really able to control your mind?

I was dating Brittany for about 8 months. She said that she could hypnotize people and get them to do embarrassing things. I really did not believe her. So she said that she would hypnotize me. I don't think it did anything because I really do not remember anything happening during the hypnosis. Brittany broke up with me a week after that and I suddenly started experiencing really strange and embarrassing cravings. It started gradual but the intensity and the regularity of the cravings grew and grew. Ok, so the strange and embarrassing craving is that I have been having a very intense desire to perform fellatio on other guys...a lot. And I have given in to that desire several times now. Brittany recently called me and asked if I was dating anyone. I said "no". She then wondered if I was performing fellatio. I was shocked and asked how she knew. She said that she had given me the craving while I was hypnotized and that each time I gave in and did the act, the craving would get stronger. Do you think that is possible??? Or is she lying to me???

Given in to it, how? And is it even remotely possible that Brittany could somehow have got to hear about any of these liaisons and decided to take retrospective credit for them in some bid to get one up on you (e.g. felt you'd rejected her long before she made the split formal and wanted revenge over it)?
