My husband and I have been married for 17 years. Every day, I?ve done my best to keep the house clean and take care of the kids. Every night of that marriage, I have had dinner ready and waiting at 6 o?clock. I set the table with real linens, serve a nice meal, and try to make the atmosphere as nice as I can so he can relax after a long day at work. And for 17 years now, he can do nothing but complain! He never thanks me for my hard work or tells me what a great job I?ve done. He simply complains about wanting DIFFERENT food, as if what I?ve prepared isn?t good enough. And he complains about the house not being clean enough, not realizing how much work it is to care for the children. How can I live with a husband who is SOOO ungrate

Your husband needs a big reality check.! You?re absolutely right to feel neglected. Taking care of children absorbs a lot of time, and it?s not likely that he?d be able to do better on his own. Most wives seldom take the time to prepare homemade dinners the way you do?much less every night! Tell your husband how you feel, and tell him that if he doesn?t like the way you cook and clean, he can do it for himself in the future because you?ll get a divorce! That ought to fix the pr

I understand how you feel. i know you have been with your husband for a long time, 17 years. I have been with my boyfriend for 4 years. he is iranian, 20 years older than me and has been marrie before. You would think he would appreciate me wouldnt you, but he doesnt. He acts like I am lucky to have him. He has been ill in hospital for the last 3 weeks and I have stayed with him every night and every day, in hospital accomodation, cos he pleaded for me to stay with him and hold his hand, cos he was being such a wimp. I did, and when he came out of hossy, I looked after him every day, and did everything for him, and how does he repay me, by being a complet and utter moody arse nearly all the time im with him, and he is like that at the best of times. I feel totally unappreciated too. He wont marry me, cos he has had a bad marriage and divorce and wont even live with me.. only sees me 2 days a week, until he wants my help with something. He does love me, but he dont appreciate me. If you ask my opinion, I think you should go on holiday for 2 weeks, on your own, or with mates, and see how your husband copes with your job. either that or tell him to get his own tea in future, and just make the kids tea. or get a divorce from the ungrateful man. and find a nice man who looks after you. and always makes you feel appreciated. good luck, love angelxx
