Men are suppose to want their wives right?

For me, what it breaks down to is that my husband of 11 years is content with sex once a month and it's usually because I remind him. I don't remember the last time he initiated or the last time he made me feel sexy or attractive. We have discussed this many times over and he swears its not me. He just got tested for testostereone and it is low so once he gets that treated hopefully it will help. I, however, feeling incredible sadness and rejection. We have two beautiful kids. My husband is a nice guy and a good dad, he just squashes the vibrant sexy woman that I feel inside of me. It's hard to admit becauase its usually men who want sex all the time. I can't help but think he thinks there is something wrong with me. Feeling broken undesirable.

Hi. Wow once a month I envy you I think I'm on the verge of a divorce as my husband has no desire at all! No children mid 30s should best our best years right! Hmmmm. And they say it's woman who lose interest in sex. Just feel soooo ugly and low vicious circle.

Your post states that your husband's testosterone is low after being tested. He needs treatment and it usually helps but when a man doesn't have the need for sex, then he doesn't. However, you should talk to to him because there are other ways to be intimate and be needed and loved in the bedroom. That way you wouldn't feel so rejected and alone. You're right, it's usually the man who needs sex all the time but you can get around this by teaching him to love you as you need to be in the bedroom. If he can swear that it's not you, and you state that he's a nice guy, then he should be able to look at alternative ways to keep you happy. Plenty of married couples go through what you are experiencing, but it's the successfully married couples who manage to work through it by using communication and appreciation for one another. They instinctively look for other ways to make it work together.
