Give him a chance

Ive got the chance to meet a bloke from a dating site. Says hes still living with his wife and two kids but they only stay together because of the kids. Told him why is he cheating if he is genuine as he says he is, told me he would rather meet tell me then instead of in text or he would call me and tell me if i wanted to know. I asked him if he wanted a relationship with someone then how could that person trust he isnt sleeping with his wife. Said it would make sense to go into details, about our situations, what we want on meeting face to face. He also said with meeting we will see if we have a mutual attraction and getting to know each other will lead to that trust.he sent me a pic and he looks normal. Should i meet and see what he says and if there is any attraction? Just seems odd staying with his wife for years and years because of the kids if he doesnt want her and still want a relationship with someone else or he just wants the best of both worlds.

This guy really needs to be divorced and single and living apart from his EX wife but still sharing the responsibility and seeing his kids to be genuine. The fact that he uses the word 'wife' should be a red flag to you. Alternatively, while it may seem odd that he is staying with his wife just for the kids sake, plenty of couples do try to do this for many reasons, but in a lot of ways a genuine person, ready for another relationship, would make sure that they were well and truly divorced, and healed, before they even attempted to be with someone else. Without being judgemental about your situation, this guy may turn out to be genuine, but any relationship that you guys might develop would be off to a rocky start, simply because he hasn't organized his personal life to give himself and anybody he met (you) a good chance to hit it off successfully...in other words, you haven't met him yet and his circumstances are already raising doubts, hence you posting here.
