A tech....wow! Techs typically have a great deal of focus on their field of study!! You can do things that a lot of people are unable to do. All of our minds are built differently, and no one is capable of managing everything one hundred percent. It is often that when we excel in one area super-proficiently, that other areas are weak. It just makes sense. There is only so much we can do!! Do not let labels, or what anyone says about you bring you down. It will only stifle your abilities. The amazing part of being human is that we are capable of training our mind to do anything we train it to do. I have one suggestion to start off. Take a piece of paper and on it I want you to write your name in bold. Then I want you to write everything else that you are. FATHER. HUSBAND. Studenet of life. Maybe Hindu or Sikh, or.... The point is that I want you to build your own IDENTITY. I want you to elaborate on the piece of paper... all the good things that you are. I want you to review it as often as you can. This is how we train our minds. This is how you will believe that you are, whatever you write down. On mine, I have... Sikh, Caring, Dancer, Artist, Daughter, Law Clerk, But i have specific things that stem off of those titles. Like I am someone that believes in the 5 pillars of Sikhism, LOVE, TRUTH, CONTENTMENT, COMPASSION, HUMILITY, I am free, I am happy, I am in control of myself, my thoughts and my actions. I am helpful, I am focused. These are just a few examples. Its important to find many many ways other than the piece of paper to have the focus of your IDENTITY infront of you. As a father, this is something that is important to teach your child. Having a child is a blessing in so many ways, but in regards to building ourselves, its a superpower. Its a superpower because you want the very very best for your child and you want to tell them the best, you want to teach them the best because you want the best for them. The love that you have for them, will help you define the best answers as to who we are, and what is life. IDENTITY IS IMPORTANT AND SO IS VISION VISION is directing your path... where you want to go, what you want to do with your life, on a very practical level. I build rainbows as an artistic way to define my vision. Imagine creating a rainbow, but instead of colouring IN the rainbow, use the 6 colours to write words that you need to remember, to fill up the rainbow. I have written down the colours, what they focus on, and questions to consider to help you find the words you need to fill up your rainbow!!! RED REPRESENTS LOVE ON THE RAINBOW WHAT IS LOVE WHAT DO I LOVE HOW DOES LOVE FEEL ORANGE REPRESENTS SELF PROTECTION WHAT DO I NEED TO PROTECT MY BODY MIND AND SOUL YELLOW REPRESENTS BALANCE WHAT I NEED TO BE AWARE OF WHAT DO I NEED TO BUILD TO KEEP MY BALANCE TO STAY ON MY OWN TRACK GREEN REPRESENTS ENERGY WHAT DO I WANT AND NEED TO DO WITH MY ENERGY WHAT DO I NEED TO REMEMBER TO KEEP EVERYTHING IN PERSPECTIVE WHAT DO I HAVE TIME FOR BLUE REPRESENTS FLOW HOW DO I WANT TO BE HOW DO I WANT TO INTERACT PURPLE REPRESENTS HEALING WHAT DO I NEED TO PROMOTE HEALING OF MY BODY MIND AND SPIRIT BUILD your identity and build your VISION. Find all kinds of ways to do this, artistic are best. Fill your life with the things that are important to you. Most importantly, fill up your time, and dont be hard on yourself. Religion is powerful, and India has powerful truth that is healing. Enjoy the music especially. YOU define YOU. Peace and Respect

Since you are not working I would spend my time on projects, learning and experiencing all kinds of things. Maybe learn to play a harmonium, or tabla!! Focus on a different scripture each day. Create a different physical challenge for yourself each day. Look up a different animal each day and learn about it. Look up a different flower. Do a different puzzle each day. Do a word jumble each day. Do a suduko each day. My point is that life is just an accumulation of experiences. One after another after another after another after another, until we die. Be a kid. Have fun. Play. Work. Play some more. We are all children of God.
