I'm starting at a new highschool on Monday and I'm terrified

Before I even start, I'm going to point out that I have awful social anxiety. But we recently moved from New York to Florida, and I start 10th grade in a new highschool on Monday. I feel sick and terrified. Even the little things are freaking me out, sitting alone at lunch, having to ask the teacher where to sit, finding my classes, things like that (advice on how to not be nervous about these specific things would be helpful too lol). So bluntly, how do I not get sick on the first day? I have a lot to catch up on, and I'm not a very open person, so I don't make friends unless someone comes up and starts a conversation with me :(

It's not going to be easy I can tell you that. It's going to take at least a week to know where everything is and there isn't no shame In asking. Being the new kid sucks, I remember moving from a town of less than 500 people and a school of max 200 to a school of 1500 students (anxiety nightmare) in my grade 8 year. That was the worst transition of my life. I was like you, didn't make friends easily or want to talk to people unless they spoke to me. I'm sure somebody in your classes will ask you to join them and their friends at lunch, if not for the first couple days find a nice spot to sit outside or get to know your school a little better and someone might see you walking around and be like "hey your the new kid aren't ya? Want me to show you around?" Or something like that, that's how I made my first friend in my new school. Just smile and say hi to those that smile at you and I'm sure there won't be a problem in making new friends. Try to be a few minutes earily to class so you can ask your teacher were to sit before anybody else comes in (I know this will only work for first class) But when class starts they are going to introduce you I front of the class, And the worst feeling with all the eyes on you but just smile and remain seated The butterfly's will be there, just ignore them. Have some water handy just incase because you can get dry mouth from nervousness. I don't know if this is going to help any if at all but good luck on your transition to the new school, it's never easy but you will get though it.
