Nausea and vomiting from protein shake

I am 14 years old, 4'11", 90 lbs. My parents have started giving me a protein shake every day so I can gain weight. I prefer to call it sludge due to the consistency. They consist of 4 scoops(1 1/3 cups) of Muscle Milk Gainer powder(chocolate flavor) and 20 ounces of water. Its been going on for about a week. 4 scoops of the powder contain 32 grams of protein and 650 calories. I'm beginning to wonder if that's a bit much considering my size but I know nothing about this kind of thing. I don't work out. The most exercise I get is running to avoid people in the hallway of my school or waving my arms about raging from a video game. I've always been on the 5th percentile for height and weight according to my doctor. Anyway, on to the point of this. The shake I drank yesterday made me a bit nauseous, but I was fine after a few minutes. The one I drank today made me vomit. After I was done throwing up I ate a slice of ham and a burger from McDonald's and was absolutely okay. I only feel nauseous after I drink the shakes. I drink them in the span of 30 min to an hour. Recently my family has been encouraging me to finish them faster because of my bedtime. Anyone have any suggestions? I could use some help.

Muscle Milk Gainers aren't good for your body. Especially for a boy of your age. There are plenty of other natural sources through which you can increase your protein intake and have a healthier body. Simple method is to buy a "Whey protein" powder. Mix it with oats and banana and grind it in a mixer. There is a video link that i have attached for you to watch, please do so. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFKNv8l7F6M It is important that a boy your age takes natural proteins, from natural sources and not to get hooked to these artificial supplements. All of these mass gainers are extremely bad for your body. If you do seriously want to get changes in your body, it is advisable to tell you parents to consult a nutritionist before giving you these powders. Protein shakes are mostly used by amateur / professional body builders. Its main function is to help you get muscle recovery post workout. Every body has a different metabolism rate. You can get a body analysis done at your nearby gym. It will help you understand which areas to focus on.

Oops ! 90lbs isnt worrisome for a girl of your age. You will put on more weight as you grow up. Ofcourse your family gene would be a small indicator of how much will you actually put on. As i mentioned earlier, it is not a good option for you to take Muscle Milk Gainers. They are not good for your body. There are many other natural sources of protein that will help you gain the muscle that you want. Regular jogging and free hand exercise is a good way of living a life. Your aim has to be to live a healthy and happy life. You are not extremely thin, so dont really worry about that. In terms of food intake, i would always suggest you to concentrate on eating good amount minerals. Adding more calories will make u increase fat in your body but it will also lead to other bodily illnesses. So STRICTLY avoid taking Mass gainers. Make sure you eat regular intervals. There are plenty of high protein snacks available. You should focus on eating high "protein foods" and not "less fat" foods.
