I am 53. I don't believe parents should have to support their kids in a way that helps them for their future. I don't believe in getting my son and daughter a learners permit, a license, or teaching them how to drive. I don't believe in letting them get a job to save up money, because I refuse to teach them how to drive, I refuse to drive them(they cannot walk, as we live on a highway/ intersection and they refuse to walk in the street with cars), I refuse to teach them how to drive, and they can't use public transportation(an hour away) as I refuse to drive them there. They have no one to help them with these things, as I have had them home schooled(they still are) for 11 years. What do you think? I plan on kicking them out with nothing when they(17) both turn 18. I stopped celebrating both of their birthdays when they were 8 years old. I haven't wanted them for 15 years.

KevinW Would you say you are a kind and loving parent? I would think not. Anyone doing what you have done to your children is mean, spiteful and sadistic. Your children should run away from you as fast as they can and never ever look back or have anything to do with you again. You need to seek good counselling. I bet your life if empty and sad.

Kevin I made my suggestion about the cars if you don't want your kids I'll take'em. We all know that'll never happen.
