Deacon doing the dirty

There is a Deacon in our Presbyterian church, who filed for divorce. After the Deacon filed for divorce, the Deacon began having an affair. Their divorce is not final. Thus, they are still married. I do not believe this follows Presbyterian code of conduct. Should the Deacon step-down? Should this issue be presented in a Session Meeting for review, and removal of the Deacon?
