I am 41 and my boyfriend is 42 years of age. We have been together now for a year and I have to say it has been a amazing year. He treats me with the most respect and love I have ever have. He is always there for me, we are insepertable. We both are givers and take care of eachother. So here is the problem. In the beginning for the first few months we had sex like crazy. Normal.... Probably 3 months into the relationship he told me that we had to slow down in the sex department. He could not keep up. He says I must be in my sexual prime. So we cut back on how often we have sex now. Before you think it I know he is not cheating on me. We so adore one another but cant seem to find common ground on this issue. I explain to him that it is not so much the sex I want as it is the feeling of connection it gives me. He explains that he gets his connection a different way from me. So it is causing problems. Anyone else relate to this? Any advice you can give me?
