School grade advice/discussion

I am currently in a school for health sciences and took an exam with my class. I had passed by one point so I wasn't freaking out (this isn't the first time I have cut this close) so I just decided to continue to go on about my day and just study harder. Once I got home, I found that I had lost a point for whatever reason (never received an email about this), but when one student asked about it, the prof said that they had made a mistake in the answer key on their end, so they're deducting points from us, and awarding points to people who got the actual right answer. Logically I get it but I feel like if the error was on the prof's end, it should have been a trashed question where everyone got credit no matter what the material was (for example: my grade just stays the same, no reduction, while if you initially did get it wrong, you get a point back for that). I felt like there was no need to honestly reduce people's grades over the prof's mistake. This is the first time that because of a stupid error my grade was reduced enough to fail. Idk what I should do, should I try and even discuss with prof about this or should I just forget about it??? I have already talked to a few other teachers/professors from different concentrations and they thought this was an unethical move pulled by the prof but idk anymore as I feel like they can do whatever they want.

What did they say when it came to recourse? Was it they who made you feel your situation was hopeless? so in other words, if someone had double checked the prof's work, you would have failed anyway. That you wish to expend energy on complaining about this instead of studying, says a lot about your priorities. I did challenge a grade in school, once. I had a B average going into the final, and a B on the final, and somehow the grade recorded was a C. When I challenged it, it was changed to a B. But I earned a B.

I got this: The error was on the prof's end, without which, the OP would have Passed. Other teachers/profs all agreed the OP's prof's move was unethical. However, their attitudes or tones weren't that encouraging when it came to the OP pursuing his/her goal to get that point back. So the OP was Failed artificially. Were it me, I would. It's the principle.

I got the impression the test was scored incorrectly: an answer that was marked correct on the test was actually incorrect. When brought to the professor's attention, the error was corrected. Those who picked the wrong answer had points deducted, those who chose the correct answer had points restored. (Answer key error on a multiple choice test?) So, unless my understanding of the situation is wrong, I'll stand by this.

Oh, I see! I thought the reason they got the answer wrong lay with the question having been incorrect or something - which I concluded from the fact the other professors deemed the prof concerned's act unethical. ? Oh, well. Maybe the OP could clear it up for us if s/he's still reading.
