Relatives acted as de facto landlords, but they don't have time

My uncle (eary 80s) bought my condo for me, to prevent me from living on the streets. He has acted as my landlord since that itme. My sister (mid-50s) has largely taken over for him. I would like for him to stop taking on so many commitments (to other people, more than me) but he insists. He thinks that if he doesn't oversee and administer repairs, that things will go wrong. Both of them resent their position as landlords to me and neither have time. I have asked many times for them to let me take care of things more and relieve them of the burden. Becuase they both have so much going on, and because they insist on keeping information to themselves, they don't have time to help me with me anything. I have a number of problems that really cause me troubles. Broken dishwasher, parlty broken window, kitchen in a mess (it needs repairs), neighbor upstairs causing me problems. I have given only a high level overview summary of the situation, leaving out the complex, messy, messed-up family situation, which I couldn't hope to do justice to in such a short post. As of now, I have just about exhausted their sympathy and paitience. I want to take on part of the burden but they won't let me. My sister fears my uncle (more than I do, becuase at this point, what do I have to lose? but I fear him too) and won't challenge him. She goes along with whatever he says, at least in front of me. I veel suicidal already and this does not help. This has gone on for three or four years.

Hi SoYeah, (Not reading ahead, just sentance-by-sentance.) "My uncle (eary 80s) bought my condo for me, to prevent me from living on the streets. He has acted as my landlord since that itme. My sister (mid-50s) has largely taken over for him. I would like for him to stop taking on so many commitments (to other people, more than me) but he insists. If they were really overstretched, they'd probably have no CHOICE but to delegate it to you. And also, it's obvious they want to keep that control. So that's a good start, not. Specifically, a giant contradiction (we don't like having to do this, you're a burden -v- no, we'll do it, thanks). Fishy... "I have a number of problems that really cause me troubles. Broken dishwasher, ((pantry)) broken window, kitchen in a mess (it needs repairs), neighbor upstairs causing me problems. I have given only a high level overview summary of the situation, leaving out the complex, messy, messed-up family situation, which I couldn't hope to do justice to in such a short post." Well, do it over the next series, then - no worries. :) "As of now, I have just about exhausted their sympathy and paitience. ((I want to take on part of the burden but they won't let me. No, mate. They've just about exhausted YOURS. (And mine.) "I veel suicidal already and this does not help. This has gone on for three or four years." I'm not surprised, considering! What you've got here is this: we're not going to repair it and neither are you allowed to organise any repair indepently of us. They sound like a couple of narcissistic types to me. SPILL, PLEASE, THANK-YOU. Well, anyway. Who cares what these giant, self-delusional eejits think. Fact is, YOU HAVE TENANTS RIGHT. And the Landlord keeping it in good repair is one such fundamental. Enquire with your local Housing Officer department or equivalent, depending on which country you are(?). RSvP, and ((((houseproud hug))))). I get ya. And I've got ya. No need for thinking far-side thoughts just yet. ;)
