Children on hold again....

My husband has emotional problems relating to his past and has told me that we need to put our attempts to have a child on hold again. I am beyond upset, I am numb and I'm confused. I have recently been told that my ability to have a child has reduced dramatically in the past 2 years, so as you can imagine I'm panicking. I'm 34 years old, but have had fertility problems for a number of years. I'm not selfish, I understand where my husband is coming from, he has some issues to deal with, but why put life on hold? Why not create a family that he never had? He will be a great father, and has so much to offer

Past can cause such problems with the present!! I have been learning a lot about this lately, in dealing with my difficult husband. One major thing I have learned is how much our trust and attachment that we had ingrained in us as children affects our relationships as adults. I don't know if your husband does other things to make you numb and confused or hurt, but if he's like mine he does, even if it's subconscious.
