Missed opportunity?

So there is this guy who is a freshman and I am a sophomore. Ever since a few days after I met him i knew i liked him. A few months ago his fried kept asking me if i liked him and told me that he like me. Since i really dislike this friend of his i said no. After about two weeks this stopped and now it's really awkward between us because he know that i know he likes me and i havent said anything about because i think its too late. my sister told me that he asked someone else out that turned him down and so now i think hes over me. i really dont want to mess this up....have i already? Should i still talk to him? What do i do?

dont think just talk to him. you have got nothig to lose. at least u ll know where u r at and wont be juggling anymore.
