Highschool lover help me please!

My ex girlfriend and I have been apart for about 4 years. We had a long history together she was 12 i was 15 when we first met and first kiss. We dated off and on untill just before my 20th birthday and we were both in love. It was never clear to me why she broke up with me. We got in an argument about something and she said "its over its been over" So she refused to talk to me and give me closure. Its now almost 4 years later, i haven't talked to her out of fear of rejection. I Deeply love this girl with a fiery passion. and there is no changing it. But i lived everyday thinking as though ill get her back some day. Well Today (4years after the dump) I see her, she is now working at a store in the mall and Im stunned and overwhelm to see her and i want to go talk to her so bad but i dont. I dont want to fuck it up. Can I talk to her? Can I get her back? Is it possible she'll love me once again??...... p.s. Im 23 she is now 20.

Im not so good at advice, but you two were together for a long time. She may have just wanted time for herself, or wanted to see what else was out there to make sure you were truly the one for her. You are both older now, and she has had time to think, and have "her" time. Seeing you may bring back good memories and she could be just as excited to see a face that once made her happy for so long, once before. A possible reason for no contact is she may also have been afraid of regection from you (for the way she left things). Though this is just a thought. Good luck on what ever decision you make.
