Please help - made permenant decision based on tempory feelings

I need help! Ok so about a week and a half i go i left my boyfriend because i thought he cheated on me. I didnt talk to him for 2 days, on friday he left for work early in the morning(we werent fighting or anythingl well he said he woukd be home in the night (sometimes depending on were he is working he has to stay over night) i tried calling him all night and all day saturday and he still wasnt answer my calls nor texts, so i called off a blocked bumber and he answered! The first thing i thought was he is for sure cheating on me! (Mind you he was working in the mountains where he cut in and out of reception). With everyone in my ear everyone told me that he was cheating and stuff so i liturally packed all my stuff and took a train back to my home town which is about 7 hours from him. While i was on the train and almost there he called me crying asking why i left and he came home to all my stuff gone! I told him my reasons and he said it wasnt true! So i messed up bad for leaving! He wouldnt talk to me for a few days and finally he answered my text telling me to leave him alone and there was no point in me coming back cause he never wants to be with me again!! So i left him alone! I left 3 days before his birthday and 5 days before our anniversary :( on his birthday he called me cry asking why would i leave him like that and i hurt him so bad! He didnt talk to me again until our anniversary and this time he called me telling me that he misses me and stuff and that he wants to be with me but he is still very hurt by what i did! He said he doesnt want me to cme back yet because he doesnt want things to go back to fighting all the time again. We have talked since then taking things slow... i keep asking him when i can come back but doesnt really give me a straight forward answer!!! Last night i talked to him and he said he needs time that he is scared to open his heart back up and let his guard down and he wants me to prove to him that he can and that he can trust me! He was going to purpose to me on our anniversary and i messed that up too! Now idk what to do! Idk how to prove to him that, i just wanna run back but i dont want it to be too soon! Idk if im supposed to wait around until he says i can come back or to move on and find a job and go back to school! I wanna be with him!!! I just dont know what to do?? No. Go back to him. A guy must love you if he calls you up crying. Don't tell him you're coming back. Surprise him and beg fr forgiveness. That's what he wants

i agree with IZZY, a guy calling you and crying he really loves you. if he really dont love you he will not bother you to call you up... just go back to him...
