I'm in love with my mates wife

Hey. I need some good advice from anyone who can help. To cut a long story short, I've been in love with my best mates wife for a long time now. They got married just under 2 years ago, and I am so happy that they are together. I spent a vast majority of last summer in their place, getting to know them more and more and becoming really good friends. IF you want to call it a third wheel,haha. Over the past 6 weeks they have 'seperated' and since then I felt my love for her is getting stronger all the time. She is constantly on my mind 24/7. So much that I can't see her as it upsets me that even thinking about her, I feel like I am betraying him. Nothing has happened between myself and her, and I don't know if it ever will. Do I tell her how I feel really, knowing that she is going through a hard separation at the moment, which I do hope brings them back together. OR do I keep ignoring her. I feel if I tell her how I really feel, I will loose her as a friend which I definitely don't want, and I will also loose him as a mate too! Its got to the point I can't face seeing either of them! Can anyone give advice on what to do?Think??

You need to let their separation run its course. Separation is hard.. really hard, so before you bombard either of them with the details of youe feelings, let the whole situation wind down. Its a very emotion and stressful thing; what they're going through. So let it runs its course. And even though its extremely difficult, be there for both of them. And then when they both seem to be in a safe place mentally and emotionally, have a conversation with your best mate about your increasing feelings for his ex-wife. If y'all are truly friends, then yeah, it'll hurt him and he'll be upset, but he'll come around, accept it, and be able to talk to you about it. After getting permission from him, that's when you go talk to her. And lay everything out for her easily; not all at once. Tell her that you have feelings for her now, then tell her you have for awhile. Hope this helps!
