How do I get over what he did???

So my other half and I met at age 17 and have been together for almost 10 years now & are planning to get married this year! we have been arguing loads recently (which is so unlike us) and I know that I have really low self confidence and it makes things difficult! But I am really trying to work on it - have signed up to slimming world to lose some weight and am making more of an effort with my appearance again! But, on Saturday night I caught my OH signing up to a sex chat website and starting a conversation with some other woman and saying that he was jut looking for one fun and discretion is important to him! Now to make it worse he lied o me at first, until I logged onto his account an showed him it and then he couldn't deny it anymore! He has said it was a silly thing to do and that he never would have on anything! He also says h was just curious how these things work as we have only ever been with each other! I feel so hurt and upset by it all, and he just thinks I am over-reacting and I don't know how to get past this? Please help..........

It's hard. You feel betrayed even though he didn't actually cheat on you. I feel the same way with my bf and how he texted/talked to another girl (even though he never did anything, I just know that I would never do that to him) But you know what, you're the one marrying him. So you either have to trust him again and forgive him...or move on..sounds like two big things I know. But take your time and space, I have confidence issues too. It's hard, you want to believe that your significant other is the only one who wants and desires you and it is true. Because you are the one he's with. Sometimes I watch a little porn....not that I want that specific person but it doesn't mean anything. I'm not some crazy sex addict person either. Basically he lied because he probably knew it would hurt your feelings. Stop worrying about what he's doing and trust that he loves you and would never cheat on you..those cam girls just do it for the money anyways
