What to do about my dad

my dad was accused of doing the "m" worde to a bunch of kids he taught at the school for troubled children. This was 10 years ago and I was much older, but he never did anything to me, he admitted plead guilty to thed charges and went to jail but he was released 6 years ago. What do I do? Should I stop loving my dad b/c of what he did, or should I forgive him? But how do you forgive someone for commiting a henious crime like3 thatrr? PLEASE HELP!!!!!
