Religion has killed our relationship

I really wish we can delete religions from our life cos It killed our relationships. I and my boyfriend had to break up because of religion even though we loved each other so much. The problem is always from the families, we cannot leave our families behind, no one can live happily without parents, so at the end, we had to end our relationship. It have been 2 years since that happened, n left the pain n my heart so deeply everyday. I don't have feeling to anyone else when I cannot forget my ex. Everything is just so terrible for me because I always feel that it was so unfair. I've seen some of my friends had the same problem as mine. We all hate it, but we couldn't do anythings. We all want in the future religions cannot interfere with relationships anymore or whatever to have better solutions for that. why don't people around feel and sympathy for us. Why would we have to leave our right person when we were so happy together.

if people are not that religious,things work,you could have still gone ahead and made it work,its you who has to live your life if you are okay and your partner things will be fine with parents
