depressed and feel useless

hi,I am unemployed and depressed,no matter how much i try i have no luck,my pers and social has become nonexistent,i keep saving money,i try to hide my feelings but i feel useless sometimes,see people living their life but i am not .pls help

Hi Kaamini, I'm sorry to hear that you are facing a tough time. There is not much information here but with the little info you shared it may be the depression you are experiencing is related you you not being employed at the moment. It is very difficult to be in that situation (I must know I was for about a year). Do not stop trying, do not seclude yourself from your family and friends. Continue to network for all you know your luck may be just around the corner.

Hi there, my sympathies are with you. I am in the same position at the moment. I have been depressed for years and unemployed for just as long I am also going through a break up with my partner and feel so down. However, I have just started on new anti depressants I went to see my doctor and she prescribed me on citralopram I think that's how you spell it. It releases a chemical into the brain called serotonin, something depressed people lack. They have helped me wonders and am.even starting to cope with the break up. I hope you start to feel better soon but don't forget there is help out there and seeing your doctor can help loads.
