kids father left

My kids father and I have been together for a while 6 years, he ended our relationship about 3 months ago because he said I nag to much....then I found out he was cheating!! Since we have been separatediI moved 1 hour away from him in with family and got a job, trying to get it together for our kids....well he now calls me more tells me he misses me, asks me to stay the night at his house almost every weekend, says he wants to hang out with me, then in the same breath he says he don't want to work on us right now. I know he isn't seeing the other girl anymore but I'm confused does he want me back? Is he confused? He always says you never know what the future holds for us...HELP

This is more complicated than an opinion has to offer. Various stuff for u to consider, like the kids, feelings, protecting your kids from the grief of any animosity between the 2 of u, stability, kids need to know what to expect for their day, week, and future of if mom and dad are a team and if so what is the team plan exactly. Lots to consider. He needs to grow up, or at least get caught up to you.
