Coming out

I'd just like to say thankyou to those who posted on my problem earlier. So thankyou :-) but if i am to come out, do you think it would be OK to just send a text to everyone after i move out, or to tell them in person? Because i get really nervous in situations like this and i am scared of how they might react. Thanks again to those who helped.
